We offer modern, time-efficient forklift training for you who want a forklift licence and to be ready for the job market quickly. The course is designed to suit both private individuals and companies, combining practical training on site with theory studies done from home.
The practical part takes place over one training day with an experienced instructor. During the day you learn to drive a forklift safely and efficiently and practise the skills needed to work as a forklift operator.
After the practical training, all the theory material and the theory test are sent to your email. You complete the theory at your own pace from home, whenever it suits you. If you don't pass on the first attempt, you can retake the theory test at no extra cost.
Our courses follow the TLP10 forklift curriculum and cover forklift categories A, B and D1. Once you pass both the practice and the theory, you receive your forklift licence.

Before your forklift training
Here's what you need to know before booking and before the practical day, so the training day runs as smoothly as possible.
The package you can book via Ecodrive is Forklift licence A & B + D1.
Safety shoes must be worn during the practical part. If you don't have your own, you can borrow a pair on site subject to availability.
Please bring work gloves and wear hard-wearing clothes for the practical part.
Any cancellation must be given at least 5 days before the course starts. Rebooked sessions cannot be cancelled.
If you don't attend a booked session, the full amount is charged.
The employer normally needs to ensure the workplace's driving authorisation and procedures after the training.

No. Forklift training gives a training certificate / forklift licence as per the setup, but it isn't an ordinary driving licence.
The package you can book via Ecodrive is Forklift licence A & B + D1 to TLP10 standard. Other forklift packages aren't sold on this page.
The theory covers safety regulations, forklift construction, ergonomics, traffic rules, risk management, materials handling, stability, loading and daily inspection. After the practice you receive the material and theory test by email.
The practice takes place on site with our training partner and lasts one day. You practise manoeuvring, loading, unloading, heavy loads and safe forklift handling.
If you need more practice or extra attempts after the practical part, you're welcome back at no extra cost under the course's driving guarantee.
